New Exhibition in Lutyens Gallery - Rosey Reed of Tideline
Mon 7th June to Sun 27th June
Rosey Reed at HestercombeExhibition: TIDELINE- Driftwood art
I am a Somerset Based artist working from my home on a dairy farm nestled in the Blackdown Hills. I enjoy roaming the countryside and local beaches of Somerset, Devon and Dorset collecting a range of materials which I use to create rustic and organic pieces of decorative art.
Sculpted by the elements, found and reclaimed wood is the core of my bespoke designs along with other discarded materials such as glass, mirror, tile and slate. I enjoy reusing and recycling such like materials, giving them a new value and purpose by turning them into original and beautiful works of art, often with a functional purpose, which can be integrated into the home to create a unique impression.
My designs include framed mirrors, wall-hangings and jewellery. All of which are unique and intricately arranged capturing the beauty of the materials I use.
