New Exhibition in the Lutyens Gallery 2010 - Marilyn Ewens

Marilyn Ewens lives at the foot of the Quantock Hills from which she gets constant inspiration, landscape being her main subject matter. Her current exhibition celebrates the Somerset countryside together with paintings of the Scottish Highlands, coastal and cricket scenes.
Currently favouring Oils, she also uses watercolour in combination with pastel and makes large charcoal and wash drawings.
Her paintings have been exhibited in Bath, Cardiff, Castle Cary, Exeter, Henley-on-Thames, Taunton, Truro, and the Royal Academy, London.
As well as painting, she holds classes in the Taunton and West Somerset area for aspiring artists of all abilities and especially enjoys introducing beginners to the great adventure of painting.
She has been a member of Somerset Art Works since it first started in 1994.
