Claire’s increasingly sought-after artwork is widely exhibited and sold throughout the southwest.
She works in a wide range of media, mixing and layering combinations of inks, dye, gesso, oil and acrylic paint, sand and glazes.
Landscape, seascape, the sky and changes in the weather and atmosphere are her most powerful inspiration. A keen walker, she works from sketches done outside and then develops them back in the studio.
This collection of work reflects a winter season of images from the Quantocks, Blackdowns and coasts of Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, Somerset and Pembrokeshire.
