Head for the country, to Hestercombe Gardens, with its fifty acres of breathtakingly beautiful landscape and formal gardens just minutes for the centre of Taunton, 5.9 miles from Junction 5 off the M5. We have a variety of both inside and outside spaces for celebrations of all kinds, meetings, corporate entertainment, exhibitions, conferences and functions.

The Bampfylde Hall
Situated adjacent to our Visitor Centre, the Bampfylde Hall is our largest space. With internet access, a hearing loop, drop down screen and a digital projector, the Bampfylde Hall is excellent for larger meetings of all kinds.It works very well indeed for corporate entertainment as it has access to the Courtyard and the Bampfylde Terrace. This grand hall seats up to 150 guests theatre style and up to 112 seated cabaret style.

The Orangery
The beautiful one hundred year old Ham stone Orangery is set in the heart of the Formal Gardens with terraces and lawns for guests to enjoy and is a truly splendid setting for a a drinks party, music recital or summer lunch.

The Woodland Barn
The Woodland Barn is part of the restored 17th century water mill complex. The floor to ceiling wooden framed windows allow the room to be flooded with natural light. It is self contained with its own kitchen and bar facilities. The room can accommodate up to 100 guests theatre style and can seat up to 80 guests on round tables, cabaret style.

The Temple
The Temple is perched high above the Pear Pond in the Landscape Gardens. It is magical venue for small wedding ceremonies or quite, simple celebrations. There is a 10 minute walk to the Temple so provisions for functions are limited. Please discuss with us, what is possible.

The Apple Loft
This attractive room is part of the Mill and Barn complex and is an ideal classroom, small lecture room or meeting room. Accommodates about 40 people depending on layout.

Barley
Barley is a small meeting room particularly useful for break out meetings or interviews. Barley accommodate up to 6 people.

Lutyens Gallery
The Lutyens Gallery forms part of our Stables Restaurant & Coffee Shop. It can, however be closed off for meetings. The Gallery seats up to 16 people and is adjacent our our Courtyard.
