Prices

Did you know Hestercombe is an INDEPENDENT CHARITY? All proceeds from garden admission, retail and events go directly towards the continued restoration, maintenance and development of these important gardens.

We have a marked 'Access for All Route' which is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. However, we are a historic landscape and formal garden - the landscape garden is set in a valley and the formal garden has steps. This is therefore reflected in the admission price for wheelchairs.

In addition, if you are a UK taxpayer and you make a donation when you enter, that is 10% more than the admission price, the government will give us an extra 25% on top of this donation. This is called a GIFT AID VISIT and it makes a tremendous difference to attractions such as ours. For additional information about Gift Aid please see their website www.giftaidvisitor.co.uk

  • At roundabout see Wickes' Superstore and take 3rd Exit onto A358 (Obridge Viaduct) - a flyover road
  • Take first exit left at little roundaboout onto A358 (Priorswood Road)
  • Bear LEFT (South-West) on to A3038 - and immediately RIGHT to go around the block to get onto CHEDDON ROAD
  • Follow Cheddon Road - do not come off it - see landmarks such as the Co-Op and Costcutters, Taunton Academy and Wellsprings Sport Centre - all on your left at varying intervals
  • Bear left onto Lyngford Lane - go through Village of Cheddon Fitzpaine (Rowford) with the little Primary School on your left
