The Stables
The Stables offers visitors an historic space to enjoy a delicious, home-made brunch, lunch or afternoon tea. It’s free to enter (no gardens admission required), whether you sit indoors within the warm and welcoming original stables, or outdoors in the stylish, light, glass-covered courtyard. Perfect for a celebratory lunch, a special catch up with friends or just a casual brunch.

Hestercombe is now a fully cashless venue - only payments by debit or credit card, contactless, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted.

Our menu's are regularly updated to reflect the season. Sunday roasts are served throughout the year.

Enjoy lunch from 12pm – 2.30pm, with options for a range of dietary preferences such as vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. Head Chef Cos Lobb-Miller’s menus are renowned for their beautiful presentation, fresh inspiring flavours and creative use of seasonal ingredients. The desserts are worth a trip to Hestercombe on their own!

Caffè + Gelato
Caffè + Gelato is now closed for the winter.
Located in the former Gift Shop, Caffè + Gelato offers a varied assortment of sweet and savoury lunch options, hot and cold drinks and delicious, locally-made gelato by Baboo. It's also dog-friendly!
If you bring your own travel cup and purchase from Caffè + Gelato, you will receive 10% off your hot drink.
