Nordic Walking - 1st October 2019
Nordic Walking uses 90% of the body’s muscles, burning up to 46% more calories than regular walking does. It tones the upper arms, shoulders and back muscles and reduces load and strain on the lower body. Great for all ages and levels of fitness, it’s a great way of keeping fit and enjoying the great outdoors!
This October, enjoy a series of four sessions of Nordic Walking provided by partners 1610, with a free taster session on 24th September.
Set in the beautiful surroundings of Hestercombe Gardens these 2 hour sessions over 4 weeks will teach you the techniques needed to make the most of the benefits of Nordic Walking.
The course includes entrance to the Gardens and you’ll also be able to take advantage of the delicious food and drink in the Stables Café.
