Summer Supper and Jekyll Talk

THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED
This year we’re celebrating 175 years since the birth of Gertrude Jekyll, who along with Architect Edwin Lutyens, designed Hestercombe’s Formal Garden.
Enjoy a rare ‘after hours’ tour of the garden with our Head Gardener Claire Greenslade who will explain how Gertrude Jekyll created a garden full of summer colour.
After the tour, sit down to a delicious supper in the Column Room restaurant and enjoy the fantastic view of Jekyll’s creation.
£33 per person.
Crispy pork belly with a wholegrain mustard jus, apple puree and cavelo nero
Courgette, spinach and mozzarella fritter with cavelo nero and a slow roasted tomato sauce (v)
(If you would like the vegetarian option, please email email@example.com with your booking reference number)

The tour of the Formal Garden will involve steps so regrettably it won’t be suitable for wheelchair users. Suitable footwear should be worn, particularly in the case of wet weather.
