Coinciding with Bampfylde 300, the celebrations of the tercentenary of Coplestone Warre Bampfylde (1720 - 1791), A Gentleman of Taste is a year-long exhibition presented by Hestercombe Gallery at Hestercombe Gardens, and explores the many themes running through the life and work of Hestercombe's former owner.

Hestercombe's family garden trails are back this October half-term: join the intrepid Coplestone on a Halloween walk through the gardens to find ingredients needed to complete his mother’s mysterious potion. £1 per trail, plus usual gardens admission (members free). NB Closed Monday 26th & Tuesday 27th October.
