Terms and Conditions for cancellations and refunds

Courses and workshops (Cuttings workshops, wreath making, etc)

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us via email as soon as possible to info@hestercombe.com. Cancellation is effective from the date of receiving written notification. If you don’t have an email address then please call us in the first instance on 01823 413923.

If cancellation is made more than a month before the start date of the course, then we are happy to offer a full refund, or transfer your balance to another course/voucher for use within 6 months.
If cancellation is made less than one month prior to the start of the course, then we will do our best to re-fill your place. If we can fill the vacant space, then your balance will be refunded or you can choose to transfer to another course or have a Hestercombe voucher redeemable for 6 months. If we can’t re-fill your place we are unable to offer a refund or balance transfer.
If cancellation is made within two weeks of the start of a course then we are unable to offer a refund or balance transfer, unless in the unlikely event we manage to re-sell the space. Don’t forget you are welcome to give your place to a friend to enjoy but please notify us so we can change the name on the booking.
We reserve the right to postpone or cancel a course or change a course leader in the event of illness or for any other reason beyond our control. We will refund or transfer any deposits or balances paid for sessions cancelled by Hestercombe. Alternatively you can transfer the balance to another session or Hestercombe voucher redeemable for 6 months.

Event bookings (Father Christmas, Skating, Theatre etc)

If you need to cancel a Father Christmas, skating or theatre booking, please notify us as soon as possible. E: info@hestercombe.com/01823 413923. If cancellation is made more than a month before the date of the booking, then we are happy to offer a full refund, or transfer your balance to another course/voucher for use within 6 months.  If cancellation is made less than one month prior to the booking, we are not able to refund purchased tickets for the event booking held at or presented by Hestercombe Gardens.

If you can no longer attend an event, please notify the ticket office.  If you are returning a ticket for a sold-out event we will endeavour to sell your ticket and give you a full refund.  If an event, show or activity is cancelled due to reasons beyond our control a full refund will be given or the option to transfer the value to another event or a voucher redeemable for six months will be offered.

Skating parties

If you need to cancel your skating party booking, please notify us via email as soon as possible to info@hestercombe.com. Cancellation is effective from the date of receiving written notification. If you don’t have an email address then please call us in the first instance on 01823 413923. All skating bookings will pay a non-refundable £50 deposit upon booking. Full payment is required one week prior to the booking date. Any cancellations after this date are not offered any refund. We reserve the right to cancel a skating party due to reasons beyond our control, in this instance we will refund any deposits or balances.
