We are CLOSED

The leaves on the trees will soon be starting to turn golden and the great cascade with its tumbling water will once again return to its dramatic self.

Everything at Hestercombe has been achieved through the support of those who love this unique place and especially our members, many of whom have remained with us since we opened 25 years ago.

Hestercombe looks back in order to look forward as we continue to reveal the vision of previous owners for the pleasure of future visitors. The exquisitely made Terrace Seat signifies rebirth and the start of our journey around the Georgian landscape. The Water Garden, which traces its history back to the early 1600s with its recently installed island pavilion and boathouse, is a reminder of less complicated times when people sought their entertainment close to home.

I hope you will be equally entranced by the gentle sound of falling water from the beautiful copper tree fountain as you sip coffee or a glass of wine in the stables courtyard. Simple pleasures are the best and are found in abundance at Hestercombe.
