A new infra-red light has arrived and been set up in the rooftops of the visitor centre so our BatCam just past the ticket office is now back in action!
The rare Lesser Horseshoe bats use Hestercombe as a nesting ground and the camera, installed carefully so as not to disturb the bats, allows visitors to see the mums and pups as they are born.
This year have not yet been born so visitors will still be able to witness this rare sight.
