We are CLOSED

A special area in the apple orchard below the Pergola has been set aside so families can scatter the ashes of loved ones within the grounds of the estate, while spending time to reflect.

Close to the Formal Gardens the orchard is quiet and calming - the perfect place for contemplation. In spring the daffodils are in bloom, in early summer the trees are in full flower, and in autumn they are covered in fruit. It is a truly beautiful setting.

To use Hestercombe as a place of remembrance, we ask for a donation of £150 to the Hestercombe Gardens Trust towards the maintenance, future upkeep and development of the gardens.

If you would like a permanent reminder of your connection with the garden, for an additional £100 donation we offer the opportunity to place an engraved brick in the ‘Wall of Memories’ by the Watermill.

We are also able to provide catering on the day should you wish to to mark the occasion with drinks, lunch or an afternoon tea.

If you would like more information, or to make an appointment to discuss this service please contact Janet Russell on 01823 410130 or email: janetrussell@hestercombe.com
