Just thought that I would let you know what we have been up to by the daisy steps.
Our catering department use an electric buggy to transport things to and from the barn and orangery when we have weddings and conferences. Over our wet summer this has caused damage to the lawn by leaving muddy tyre tracks.
We have placed down a plastic mesh to stabilize the soil. The idea is that over time grass will grow up through the mesh and create a tougher surface for the vehicle to drive on. Hopefully the mesh then becomes invisible under the grass and the problem is solved.
Until then it will look like this!
