On 23rd May the Government announced a relaxation of the Coronavirus guidance that allows gardens to reopen. There are a number of restrictions which are that all buildings and amenities are to remain closed, including cafes, and that social distancing is to be maintained. Hestercombe Gardens Trust is actively looking to see what measures can be put in place to facilitate the safe opening of the gardens at Hestercombe, but in the meantime the gardens remain closed. Further details will be published here as soon as they are available.
Hestercombe would like to thank you for your patience whilst we remain closed and monitor Government updates. We miss you all and have been so heart-warmed by all the kind messages and comments from so many of you. As an independent charity, Hestercombe, now more than ever, needs your support. If you are able, please do purchase a gift voucher to use in the future, consider making a donation to our charity and continuing with your monthly membership Direct Debits – they will help sustain the many vital jobs that we provide at Hestercombe.
You can also explore our online exhibitions on Google Arts & Culture, follow our Facebook page where Head Gardener Claire Greenslade is posting daily video updates from the gardens, and watch our videos on Vimeo.
