Come and explore our bustling annual Christmas Market near Taunton in the heart of Somerset, featuring festive stalls bursting with beautiful locally-sourced gifts, delicious treats and unique hand-crafted items.
In the Stables Restaurant and Bampfylde Hall we'll be selling festive food and drink including wonderfully crumbly mince pies, creamy hot chocolate, and homemade mulled wine.
Visitors to the market will receive free admission to the gardens, house and contemporary art gallery – just show proof of your Christmas Market admission at the Visitor Reception desk.
9am - 5pm, Friday 19th, Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st November
To enable us to maintain a smooth flow of visitors to the market, and achieve a level of social distancing, we will be operating timed ticketed slots for the first time.
*IMPORTANT NOTICE: this event is fully booked. Anyone attending the Christmas Market without a ticket will be turned away*
As part of this year's Christmas Market, we will be holding a fantastic book sale in Hestercombe House ~ a treasure trove of bargains! Your Christmas Market admission will get you free entry to the book sale.
All tickets include complimentary gardens admission. You will only be able to access the gardens with this ticket from the start of your allocated timeslot onwards. Tickets from 3pm onwards are charged at a lower rate due to the gardens closing at 5pm. There are limited slots available. Children under the age of 15 can enter the market for free - there is no need to book a ticket.
Whilst we all sincerely love four-legged friends at Hestercombe, unfortunately because it can get quite busy throughout the event, for safety reasons we cannot allow them into any part of the Christmas Market. However, they are still very welcome throughout the gardens, shop, plant centre and cafe as usual.
Applications to exhibit in this year's Christmas Market are closed. To be added to our mailing list for our 2022 Christmas Market, please email us and we shall contact you in early January 2022 with further information, dates and how to apply.
