Our regenerative methods of growing food are centered entirely on building soils; quality and quantity, without the use of chemicals.
By following our methods, you can create healthy, weed free and nutritious soil full of life.
This benefits food growing as it increases your crop quantity, health and speed of growth, as well as minimising pest and disease damage.
We will be outside, undertaking some practical tasks and activities, as well as discussing theories for healthy soils.
This is not a deep science soil session - Elaine Ingham offers incredible expensive courses for this - it is a very practical guide which you can apply at home or in your market garden which will increase your produce and reduce your work.
Quick wins for minimal expense and time.
Whether you're a seasoned gardener, grower or just starting out, this event is perfect for anyone interested in sustainable soil management.
We will be taking a tour of the market garden, with an opportunity to ask questions as we go round.
Please wear sturdy footwear and dress for all weathers!
60% of this course is outside, and the ground is uneven. We will spend some time indoors with slides, books and discussions.
Refreshments provided.
