Event Details

This in-depth, full-day workshop takes place in our demonstration self-sufficiency garden at Hestercombe. It’s ideal for anyone struggling with poor crops, unhealthy plants, or looking to increase productivity while reducing effort.

With increasingly extreme weather conditions, traditional gardening approaches are no longer enough. This course explores how to rethink your growing space using regenerative methods that build resilience from the ground up.

Our approach focuses on improving soil health, increasing biodiversity, and designing systems that reduce watering needs, labour, and vulnerability to pests and climate extremes—all without the use of chemicals.

Suitable for beginners and experienced gardeners alike, this course offers a comprehensive introduction to creating a thriving, climate-resilient growing system.

Topics Covered

  • Future-proofing your growing space
  • Understanding and creating microclimates
  • Building resilience into your system
  • Reducing water use
