Claire will share insight in to the current growing season, highlights of both the formal and landscape gardens as well as upcoming developments at Hestercombe.
This event will begin with a short introduction from Claire, after which she will accompany a small group on a private walk around the gardens. A cream tea will be served in Stables Restaurant after the walk ends.
Garden entry is included in the cost of your ticket, as is a cream tea for one (including one scone and a tea or coffee).
The walk will follow an accessible route through the gardens, but please wear clothing suited to the weather and for a garden walk. Find out more about accessibility in our gardens here.

Whether you're a seasoned painter or picking up a sketchbook for the first time, this relaxed plein air event is open to all artists and art-lovers of all ages and skill levels.

This course is a one day deep dive into planning for Self-sufficiency with regard to growing fruit, veg, herbs, eggs & mushrooms. Suitable for anyone who would like to become as self-sufficient with food growing as possible. What that means to you will vary - from growing your year's worth of potatoes, to salad available year round, to not having to buy anything from the shops, how you define self-sufficiency is up to you, and we can help you get there.
