The Hestercombe Christmas Market returns on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th December 2026, bringing together around 60 of the very best Somerset and South West independent businesses, artists, and makers. Carefully handpicked for their quality, creativity, and commitment to sustainability, this two-day event offers a relaxed and inspiring festive shopping experience in one of the region’s most iconic heritage settings.

Set throughout Hestercombe House & Gardens, visitors can explore a thoughtfully curated selection of stalls featuring handmade gifts, artisan produce, homewares, art, and festive treats, all within the unique atmosphere of the house at Christmas.

The event is delivered in partnership with The Somerset Collective, whose pop-up markets have been showcasing exceptional independent talent since 2016. With a strong focus on sustainability, ethical production, and supporting small creative businesses, The Somerset Collective creates events that celebrate quality, craftsmanship, and community.

Each stallholder is carefully selected to ensure a varied and high-quality mix of products, with a degree of exclusivity that enhances the visitor experience and encourages discovery. The result is a festive market that feels both welcoming and distinctive, set within the stunning backdrop of Hestercombe.

Now in its 10th year under the direction of events professional Sally Hawkes, The Somerset Collective continues to champion independent makers across the region while raising funds for charitable causes through its events.
