The Lighter Side
A photographic journey through joy at Hestercombe
Join us this February half term for a children's trail inspired by nature and art
This event has ended

This February enjoy a trail to explore art based on nature and the land and help us to create living art pieces around our beautiful gardens and gallery. A fun, and activity-packed family day out and exploration of Land Art, the subject of our Expanding Landscapes exhibition.
Weave sticks, leaves and other natural materials into a tapestry built by you and other trail-goers. Help us to create a colour swatch of materials, and stack leaves to create a beautiful piece of living art. Carefully add your own part to our home-made sculpture and enjoy walking through our meadow labyrinth, with a surprise when viewed from above.
We end up in Hestercombe House where you play your part in building our very own piece of land art for the gallery.
Please note that Hestercombe House will close at 4pm daily.
The I Heart Nature trail is completely free, included with standard gardens admission (Hestercombe members go free).
Admission tickets are available via the Hestercombe website.
Described as “one of the top twenty gardens to visit in the country”, Hestercombe is always beautiful throughout the year. Join today and enjoy great value: unlimited access to Hestercombe with prices from £4.21 per month.
Give a Gift of Membership to friends and family and they too can enjoy all the benefits of membership.
