Design for Life: Art and Architecture - Part 1
New international exhibition featuring work from Le Corbusier to the present day
This event has ended
We're delighted to have teamed up with Wellsprings Leisure Centre to offer members and visitors a free (with garden admission) yoga taster session, held in our beautiful Dining Room in historic Hestercombe House.
One of the worlds most practiced spiritual disciplines. Developed over thousands of years these sessions concentrate on bringing balance and harmony to both body and mind, through postures and breath. They can help to boost the immune system, encourage relaxation and correct posture alignment.
This is a 60 minute, adult only yoga session. Mats will be provided, however, participants are very welcome to bring their own.
Places are strictly limited to 15 and are available on a first come first served basis. Please email events@hestercombe.com to book your place.

This National Garden Scheme (NGS) event will include a private evening tour of Hestercombe gardens with our Head Gardener, Claire Greenslade.
This event brings together artists, architects and curators to discuss their work, collections and themes in the current ‘Design for Life’ exhibition, which visually explores the historical intersection of art and architecture from the past 65 years.
Join Michael Jordan, author and chairman of the Fungus Conservation Trust, for a fun and informative walk to discover and identify mushrooms and toadstools in the gardens
