It’s mid-August which means the Formal Garden is blooming and it's star turn, the Great Plat, has bundles of colour. Looking at the Plat from the Victorian Terrace, the scene is punctuated by cartoon-bright blooms: electric-blue delphiniums, coral and red gladioli and sunset orange cannas.
