Welcome to the festive season! We're now officially in the mood for Christmas after a very successful annual Christmas Market. Filled with beautiful stalls and friendly, local producers and craftspeople we were bursting at the seams with decorations, food and lots of lovely gift ideas. A great way to kick start the festive season.
We’re now in a thoroughly Christmassy mood and wanted to share our Christmas line up. We're open every day (except Christmas day). Here’s what else is coming up:
From 3 Dec
Glide about on our undercover skate rink (it’s artificial so not too chilly!) and have a giggle. We’ve got small skates and skating aids for little ones and you can even book exclusive use or a kid’s party package.
From 10 December
Follow the pathway through the winter gardens to find Father Christmas. The real log fire will be roaring, lights will be twinkling on the Christmas tree and sacks of presents will be waiting.
Christmas theatre: Folksy theatre present A Christmas Carol
Sun 18 and Mon 19 Dec, 3pm
Snuggle up in the Bampfylde Hall and watch the fabulous Folksy perform this much-loved Christmas tale. The perfect Christmas treat for all the family.
Wreath making and festive craft workshops
Sun 4 & Mon 5 December
Make something beautiful to decorate your home and learn a new skill on our craft workshops. Guided by florist Sarah Pepper you can make a Christmas wreath or a festive twiggy garland.
Festive garden trail 3 Dec – 2 Jan
Can you spot the falling stars? Follow our wintry trail and see if you can find the stars scattered around the gardens. Discover star facts and create your own Christmas card as you go along. Normal garden admission applies.
