Raise money online….at no extra cost to you!
Give as you Live is a revolutionary new method of fundraising that has the potential to significantly enhance our income here at Hestercombe. Why is it revolutionary? Because you don’t have to do or give anything!
Instead, any amount you spend online with companies like John Lewis, Sainsbury’s, Apple, Topman, Amazon, Debenhams, Argos, Tesco, Marks and Spencer, and over 3,000 others will see between 1% and 6% of the total transaction value donated to Hestercombe by that retailer. £100 spent on amazon.co.uk, for instance, will see £1.50 donated to Hestercombe by Amazon. A completed grocery order on sainsburys.co.uk would raise us another 50p at Sainsbury’s expense.
The sums may be small, but they can make a huge difference to our continuing restoration and preservation work at Hestercombe. Indeed, it is estimated that over £17bn will be spent online by us this Christmas – just think how much that could raise for charity if we all signed up to Give as you Live!
All you have to do is complete a 30 second registration process, nominate Hestercombe as your chosen charity and then continue shopping online as you would do normally. Give as you Live will detect if you are shopping with an online retailer signed up to the scheme and, once your payment with the retailer has been processed, that organisation will donate between 1% and 6% of whatever you spend to us here at Hestercombe.
Give as you Live is not too good to be true. Online retailers will donate a percentage of what you spend with them directly to us. It is 100% safe and secure – you don’t have to divulge any personal information beyond your name and email address, and you won’t get sent any junk mail by them either.
